Belong

A Place to Belong

Community

We're all about community. Life is better when you  do the journey with others, learning and growing in God together.

Eastview is a place to find community and belong, no matter your story, you are welcome here. Our aim is to be a place of hope for the community of Botany.

Small Groups

Small groups are an important part of what we do at Eastview and we strongly encourage everyone to get involved in one.

The purpose of small groups is to encourage each other in our lives and faith journeys as we learn more about God through his word.

Discipleship

At Eastview we want to help people of all ages discover faith, and learn to follow Jesus in daily life.

“If we do not make formation in Christ the priority, then we’re just going to keep on producing Christians that are indistinguishable in their character from many non-Christians.”
Dallas Willard

Eastview Youth

Eastview Youth is a vibrant community of teens who hang out, have fun and discover more about faith together.

We run youth events every Friday night during school terms from 7-10pm and include a mixture of social events, games, sharing and small group discussions.

Easter Camp is a massive highlight every year for our young people and takes place annually over Easter weekend.

Our youth group is run by our passionate youth worker Alex Pope alongside our awesome team of youth leaders.

Anyone who is secondary school aged is more than welcome to join us at any of our events. We'd love to see you there!

Connect with us on Facebook and Instagram to find out more about what's coming up!

Eastview Kids

Helping our kids come to know and love Jesus is one of our core values at Eastview.

We run an engaging kids programme every Sunday during school terms that introduces children to Jesus in a fun environment.

All ages participate in our church service for the first 15 - 20 minutes before heading out to their programmes.

Our kids programmes include:
  • Creche for babies and under 3 years olds.
  • JAM for 3 - 5 year olds.
  • Eastview Kids for Primary school children (Years 1 - 6).
  • The Middle for intermediates and early teens (Years 7 - 10).
Adventure Church

Once a term we run adventure church, when we take church outside the 4 walls of our building. It's interactive, fun and helps kids to engage with faith in a tangible way.

Local Mission

In NZ we support the social services of IOSIS &

Young Life through 24/7 in local secondary schools.

Eastview also partners with Living Waters Otara Baptist Church in various ways including clothing donations and running a homework club after school.

Overseas Mission

Eastview supports Kerry and Annie, Joel and Lizzie & Ryan and Sophie serving in South and South East Asia through the Baptist global mission agency, Tranzsend.

We also support Zach and Alice who are serving in Italy with TSCF.

Tony McClean Nepal Trust

We have a special relationship with Garembesi, a village in Nepal, through the work of the Tony McClean Nepal Trust which was begun after one of our young leaders, Tony, drowned in the Mangatepopo disaster. Teams from Eastview have travelled to Nepal to aid with clean water, health, and education.
